Janeiro em Fotos

Janeiro foi um bom mês e depois das férias, a vida voltou ao normal. O Alê já está viajando bastante logo nesse começo de ano, eu voltei a me exercitar e também a frequentar as reuniões do VP que tinha abandonado em novembro.  Fui para Salvador passar um final de semana, li bastante e fiz bastante scrap também. E arrumação nos armários também, bleargh... Mas, fora com o velho, vamos abrir espaço para o novo!

January was a good month and after our vacations, life is back to normal. DH's been travelling a lot already, I restarted my exercise daily routine and I'm also back to the WW meetings that I'd abandoned last November. I went to Salvador to spend a weekend, read a lot and scrapbooked. Also, organized wardrobes, drawers, cabinets etc here at home - what I hate doing but out with the old and let's get some room for the new!

Scrapbook - That's amore!

Bom dia , minha gente, como foram de finde? Por aqui foi tudo normal, até demais para o meu gosto, mas essa semana estou feliz: meu love vai passar a semana inteira trabalhando por aqui :) :) :) Bom demais!

E por falar em love, essa é minha página mais recente e vocês sabem que eu amo fazer páginas românticas (e ver filmes românticos, ler livros, ouvir músicas e por aí vai, hehee). Usei nela algumas fotos que tiramos em Como, na Itália e, para variar, foram tantos elementos diferentes que depois eu listo com calma e posto no meu Flickr.

Good morning, everyone, how was your weekend? Things were pretty normal around here - in fact too normal for my taste, hehee but the good news is: my love is here for the whole week, YAY!

Speaking about love, here is my newest page and you know how much I enjoy making romantic scrapbooking pages, right? hehee. I used a few photos wee took in Como, Italy and, as usual, I added so many elements that I'll be listing later and posting on my Flickr.

Paris

Paris, sempre Paris! Eu visito a Cidade Luz sempre que posso e toda vez que chego lá fico com a impressão de que a cidade está mais lotada que a anterior! Dessa vez estava com certeza por causa do final de ano e o frio, minha gente, vocês não tem noção: dias nublados, muita chuva, pouquíssimas horas de sol. Ficamos super bem localizados, dessa vez ao lado do Arco do Triunfo e foi ótimo, já que é minha parte favorita de Paris. Subi a Torre Eiffel, finalmente - acreditam que eu nunca tinha feito isso? E também consegui entrar no museu do Palácio de Versailles, só tinha visitado os jardins algumas vezes - sempre desistia ao ver a fila imensa para entrar. Descobri que o lance é ir à tarde mas achei que foi um programa meio sacal. Honestamente, já vi coisas muito mais interessantes que isso e poderia simplesmente não ter ido!

Paris, always Paris! I go there as many times as I can and everytime I arrive I have a feeling that it's more crowded than the time before, LOL. Well, this time it was for sure because of the holidays and so cold I couldn't believe: cloudy or rainy almost the entire time we were there. Our hotel was in a great location, near to the Arc de Triomphe, my favorite neighborhood in Paris. For the first time we got to go up the Eiffel Tower and also visited the museum at Versailles Palace - we'd tried it a few times before but as soon as I saw the lines I'd give up, now I found out that a good time to do this is in the afternoon. I wasn't very impressed though, I think I have seen more interesting places than this.

Algumas estátuas estavam embrulhadas e era muito esquisito, ainda mais com esse corvo em cima!

February Photo-a-Day Challenge

Quem me convenceu a entrar no desafio February Photo-a-Day foi a Sheila querida. Eu estava em dúvida se fazia ou não por que acabo me enfiando em tantas coisas diferentes que deixo metade de lado, detesto mas faço... Só que ao mesmo tempo, janeiro nem acabou e eu já estou ficando sem imaginação para o projeto 365+1, pode isso?

I was convinced by my dear friend Sheila to participate on this challenge. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this because I start so many different things and end up not finishing half of them, LOL, I hate to admit it but I do... But at the same time, January is over and I'm already lacking ideas for my Project 365+1.

Siena

Siena é uma cidade tão fofa que eu nem consigo descrever o quanto fiquei encantada com ela! Aliás, fiquei assim com tudo o que vimos na Toscana, é tão... diferente, quase um sonho! No nosso penúltimo dia em Florença pegamos um trem até Siena e passamos o dia por lá. Estava um frio indescritível, juro, mas, depois de vários dias nublados ou de chuva, foi revigorante ver a cor do sol, mesmo que não adiantasse nada para esquentar, hehee.  

Siena is such a lovely city that I can't even describe how much I loved it there! Well, everything in Tuscany is so... differente, almost dreamy! We took a train to Siena in one of our last days in Florence to spend the day. The cold weather was terrible but after so many cloudy and rainy days it was nice to see the sun, even if it didn't make us feel warmer, hehee

O interior do Duomo di Siena é absolutamente incrível. De todas as catedrais que visitamos durante a viagem, achei essa a mais impressionante.

The Duomo di Siena. The interior of this church is just unbelievable! Of all the cathedrals we visit during our travel, I thought this was the most impressive.

 

 

 

A vista é linda quando se consegue olhar do alto entre as ruazinhas. No alto, a Basilica di San Domenico.
